We are thrilled to announce a feature that has often been requested but it was held back due to some database limitations that we have now overcome.
Today, we released nested logs when viewing the history for emails and scheduled tasks in MSPintegrations. (note: nested logs are only viewable on our beta console for now).
To best demonstrate this change, I created a scheduled task that retrieves all active Autotask resources in my sandbox Autotask account (30 users total). The scheduled task iterates over each resource and adds a new note to Autotask with some information about that resource.
Here is the log displayed with the old interface. Notice that there are several pages of logs, and that each log entry is visible:
Now, compare that to the new nested log views. Notice that not all log entries are visible, and that you can expand actions to see what logs those actions created. It’s much more intuitive to see the log entries for a particular action or ruleset:
