With the current implementation of MSPintegrations, there is no way to automatically handle attachments that are too large. We intend to add more customization of that process in a future release, but there is no way to do that currently.
The only thing that I can suggest (and I recognize this is not ideal) is to implement a filter or transport rule on your upstream mail server before the message is passed to MSPintegrations.
I know this isn’t ideal. I have documented this as a feature and we will do what we can to make this process better.
