Creating a new Subissue

Is it possible to create a new subissue through MSP? When looking through “Autotask Entity Type to Create” I cant see subissue.

The Autotask Ticket SubIssue field is a picklist field, and are is an entity. The Autotask API doesn’t expose any way to modify picklist values.

It is not possible to modify the available values of any picklist fields using the API. There is no way to add a new Ticket SubIssueType to the list of options except by doing it in the Autotask UI.

Some examples of other picklist fields in Autotask are:

Ticket status, priority, category, and queue.
